Required skills

Transfers or repositions patient, including change position and/or turn patient or resident to prevent bed sores and ulcers
Follows the patient’s or resident’s plan of care
Records & documents patient medical information, following established protocols
Assists patients and residents with personal equipment and devices
Evaluates patient and work environment for possible risks or hazards
Maintains and responds to patient alarm systems
Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly
Encourages family involvement in patient and resident care
Transfers patient or resident between bed, wheelchair, and stretcher

Required Credentials

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Medical associated certificate
Alabama Driver License Class D
High School Diploma
